Heavenly Father, by your grace we gather to humbly portray
the Passion, Death and Resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Grant us the grace to bear our meagre crosses of frustration, disappointment and petty dislikes in a true Christian spirit and to work together in harmony for the good of the play.
In keeping with our motto 'Unity around the Cross' we pray for
a deepening of the ecumenical spirit now evident among other
Christian brethren with whom we come in contact, particularly
when we travel.
In all things, your will, not ours, be done.
We now pray the words Our Saviour taught us:
Our Father who art in Heaven ... For thine is the kingdom, the
power and the glory, for ever and ever.
